1985 – “Living Together” by Alan Ayckbourn
Posted on: June 12, 1985‘Living Together’ is the second of Ayckbourn’s ‘The Norman Conquest’ trilogy that deals with a traumatic family weekend in a Victorian country house, the action here taking place in the living room. Norman is a librarian who is married to Ruth, but actually fancies his sisters-in-law Annie and Sarah. Annie is also being courted by Tom, a dim vet, while Sarah is tired of her marriage to the boring Reg.
