After eight performances of our wonderful historical drama Henry's Wives we can definitely say that this year's English Drama Group production not only stunned those critics who came to review the play but also over 800 persons who came to watch it. The ladies (and gentlemen) gave spectacular performances in their incredible costumes! (Thank you Hellmut!). The performance week seemed to fly by and, in the end, many expressed the wish that it could go on forever but, as we all know, all good things come to an end. Thank you so much to the wonderful cast and the crew behind them for a wonderful show.

This has been an expensive production for the EDGS and we are trying to offset the costs involved by selling the wonderful costumes made from fine silk saris and pearls. So far the green costume (Anna of Cleves) is sold and there is avid interest in the black one (Catherine of Aragon) and the blue one (Kate Parr).
